15th Plugfest in Berlin & HbbTV Testing Event
Register for the joint Plugfest of DTVP & DTG and the HbbTV Testing Event (October 07-11)
Deutsche TV-Plattform is continuing its successful Plugfest series in cooperation with DTG UK in 2024. We are pleased to invite you today to the 15th edition, which will take place from October 07 to 11 in Berlin at Fraunhofer FOKUS. Following the Plugfest (October 07 to 09), an additional HbbTV Testing Event of the HbbTV Association (HbbTV Testing Group) will take place at the same venue (October 09 to 11).
The focus of the Plugfest this time is on HbbTV, streaming, immersive audio and DVB-I, as well as traditionally on UHD-HDR tests (HDMI). As always, it is aimed at device manufacturers, broadcasters, technology providers, platform operators, research and development institutions and standardisation bodies.
The HbbTV Testing Event on October 07 – 11 is an opportunity for the HbbTV implementers to execute tests on their devices and log those executions as part of the evidence required to approve test cases for the v2024-3 release. The representatives of Test Material Providers will be available to discuss problems found with either the test material or implementation. The event participants will have temporary access to the test harness, necessary for executing the test cases at the event. The test plan will be distributed to the event participants a day before. Participants should be TRAA assignees to have access to the Test Repository.
To participate, please register below for the Plugfest, the HbbTV Testing event or both events. To complete the registration, you need to download the registration documents below the registration form, which must be signed and submitted in time by all participating companies (Detailed Registration Form(s) and Participant Agreement). Please note: Registration requires active participation in the event. Unfortunately, it is not possible to be a mere observer.

All documents must be received by the office by 6 September 2024: by digital signature (participant agreement) or by email to plugfest@tv-plattform.de (registration form).
Alternatively, it is possible to send them by post, in which case please send the documents in advance by email to plugfest@tv-plattform.de
