HbbTV Symposium 2022 in the Sign of Targeted Advertising, DVB-I and New HbbTV Services
The 10th HbbTV Symposium from 9-10 November 2022 in Prague will once again cover all relevant topics in the HbbTV universe and bring together high-ranking executives and experts from the industry.
On the first day – 9 November – everything will revolve around targeted advertising in the panel „Targeted Advertising“ from 13:45 – 16:00. During the panel, Frank Heineberg, VP Standards & Innovations RTL Distribution and Head of the Task Force ADB2 of Deutsche TV-Plattform, will talk about the implementation of HbbTV-TA and ADB2-TA. Andre Prahl, Chief Distribution Officer at RTL Germany and CEO of Deutsche TV-Plattform will explore how the industry can work together to bring HbbTV-TA into living rooms.
On Day 2 of the HbbTV Forum on 10 November, Andre Prahl will take part in the „Technology Trends“ panel (15:15 – 16:30) and give a keynote speech on the topic: „Open Standards – Does Modern Television Need Them?“. Klaus Merkel, HA DISTRIBUTION Production and Operations Directorate rbb and Co-Head of the Task Force ADB2 at Deutsche TV-Plattform, will speak on possible applications of HbbTV beyond broadcasting.
The annual Connected TV industry summit, which is aimed at platform operators, broadcasters, advertisers and advertising technicians, standardisation organisations and technology companies, will take place at the Vinohrady National House.
