13th Plugfest in Berlin & HbbTV Testing Event
Register for the joint Plugfest of DTVP & DTG and the HbbTV Testing Event (June 26-30)
Deutsche TV-Plattform is continuing its successful Plugfest series in cooperation with DTG UK in 2023. We are pleased to invite you today to the 13th edition, which will take place from June 26 to 28 in Berlin at Fraunhofer FOKUS. Following the Plugfest, an additional HbbTV Testing Event of the HbbTV Association (HbbTV Testing Group) will take place at the same venue (June 28 to 30).
The focus of the Plugfest this time is on HbbTV, streaming, immersive audio and DVB-I, as well as traditionally on UHD-HDR tests (HDMI). As always, it is aimed at device manufacturers, broadcasters, technology providers, platform operators, research and development institutions and standardisation bodies.
The HbbTV Testing Event on June 28th – 30th is an opportunity for the HbbTV implementers to execute tests on their devices and log those executions as part of the evidence required to approve test cases for the v2023-2 release. The representatives of Test Material Providers will be available to discuss problems found with either the test material or implementation. The event participants will have temporary access to the test harness, necessary for executing the test cases at the event. The test plan will be distributed to the event participants a day before. Participants should be TRAA assignees to have access to the Test Repository.

All registered participants of both events are cordially invited to attend a get-together for the industry hosted by Deutsche TV-Plattform on the evening of 27 June 2023 in Berlin. More information will be announced in due time.
Scope of the UHD Plugfest
Target Groups
The three-day event will cover HDMI/HDCP, USB, HDR, HFR, 4K/8K video content including NGA, and HbbTV, and is open to all relevant technical teams interested in testing their products/software/content from an interoperability perspective.
